The parliament buildning
The parliament was the highlight of my trip to Hungary. It is located on the Pest side (Budapest is divided into two parts) at Kossuth Lajos Square. It is a beauitful view in the day but if you want the whole experience to be even better - Book a boat trip on the Danube River at night. it cost around 15€. It is defenetly worth the money since the buildning lights up at night and the view is the best from the river.
Fisherman bastion
Is a stunning arcitecture located on the Buda side. Personally i think it is a romantic place and is great to visit with a partner or a friend! There is usually a lot of people there so i would recommend to visit early in the morning for the best view.
Ferris wheel
You can get a stunning view over the city if you ride the ferris wheel. it costs around 13 euros. It is a bit expensive and if you are budget traveling its not worth it. It lightens up at night so to be honest it is also worth going here just to see it and not ride it.
Take photos at the Liberty Bridge
This bridge connets the two cities Buda and Pest. From this bridge you get the best view over the city, and it it totsly free!
Ride the metro/tram
Even though Budapest is a perfect walking city, is the metro definitly worth visiting.Budapest has the oldest metro system in mainland Europe snd second oldest in all of Europe behind the UK. The tram is also beautiful here, it is yellow and goes great with the colors of spring and autumn.
It is not only pretty, it is also a great way to travel if you want to avoid all the expensive taxi and uber rides.
Go to a rooftop bar
Like almost every city in europe, the city lights up at night, and the most perfect way to experience that is to go to a rooftop bar. It is pretty expensive though so I would not recommend it to a budget traveler. But if you do want to go to a rooftop bar i would recommend 360 bar for a great view.
