What to do in tbilisi

There are a lot of things to do in this city.

Here are some recommendations

Visit the old town

You cannot visit this city without taking a walk trough the old city. It is beautiful, at night and during the day. It is full of life and has many great restaurants and cute shops.

See the clock tower

It is located in the center of Tbilisi. The tower is kind of a landmark here and to be honest it is a must visit. It is totally free to see it but it can get kind of buzy so i would recommend you to visit early in the morning to get nice pictures.

Dry bridge market

This was our favourite excperience in Tbilisi. This market is so cool, you can find so many soviet souveneers but also jewlery, books and art.

Blue balcony hotel

This is a great photography spot for all the photoagraphers. It is located near the old city, a walking distance. It is free and totaly worth visiting. And yes the balcony is blue but my favourite photo was in black and white…

visit the chronicles of georgia.

This was an amazing excperience. i thought it was going to be an average tourist spot but the chronicles was unbelivble. They were much bigger than i thought.

if you have a day off or just dont know what to do you should defentely go on a day trip to Armenia. You can easy book the trip on getyourguide. It costs around 80€. We had the best trip, the guide was very good and the food was amazing. We ate at a locals house in Armenia. There was a lot od different foods, cheese, dolma, bread, rice and much more. We even got to eat some green plums fresh from the owners garden. We really got to meet the locals, i dont even think they cpuld say one word in english, which i liked. The guide helped us all to comunicate so it wasnt causing any problems at all! During te trip we also stoped at a museum, it was a museum about

go to Kazbegi mountain

Another day trip definitely worth the money and time! You can also book this trip at getyourguide. This trip takes a whole day. You get to see the beauutiful mountain Kazbegi but you also have a few other stops along the way. We first stoped at
Zhinvali-reservoaren. One of the most beautiful views we have ever seen (photo number 3 further down). At this stop you could also buy something to eat and souveners as well. The next stoped was called Anauri which is actually a famous sightseeing stop when visiting the mountain. We saw a historic castle and the Anauri river. We also stoped at Gudauri, it is a famous sightseeing spot in Georgia. We saw the Georgia-Russia friendship monument (picture number 1) and it was really nice!
